Grief and Loss
Grieving is a phased response to loss, particularly the loss of someone or something to which a bond or attachment was formed. It is the emotional suffering and mourning that one feels when something or someone an individual loves is taken away. Individuals grieve in connection with a variety of losses throughout their lives such as bereavement, separation, unemployment and ill health.
While it is a natural response to loss, there are various stages of grieving which we may find difficult to work through for many reasons and as a result it may feel as if this difficult process will never end.
The compassion and understanding offered by our practitioners at Mosaic creates a safe and dignified space where you will be assisted to understand and express the multitude of emotions that may arise during the stages of grief and loss.
